World Cancer Day celebrated at School of Nursing, DRIEMS University

School of Nursing, DRIEMS University on the eve of WorldCancerDay, students of B.Sc.(N) 4th Semester (2022-23) and GNM 2nd Year (2023-24) conducted a Health Awareness Programme on Cancer on February 3, 2025, at Padmini Care Hospital. The event concluded with a gift distribution to patients by the students, spreading hope and encouragement.

On February 4, 2025, at 3 PM, a seminar on “Cancer Prevention and Treatment” was organized at Padmini Auditorium. The students of B.Sc.(N) 4th Semester (2022-23) and GNM 2nd Year (2023-24) actively participated in this insightful session.

A special moment of the event was when Cancer Survivor Mrs. Sanghamitra Panda shared her inspiring journey of resilience and strength during cancer treatment, motivating everyone present.
