The Second Annual Sports Event – Grand Prix of School of Pharmacy
The Second Annual Sports Event – Grand Prix of School of Pharmacy, DRIEMS University – was held on Wednesday, sparking excitement and energy across the campus! More than 200 students actively participated in various sports events over three action-packed days.
The B.Pharma 1st-semester team emerged victorious in the kabaddi competition, while the B.Pharma 3rd-semester team claimed the title of champions in cricket. Sheikh Mohammed Shakeel, a third-semester student, earned the prestigious ‘Man of the Match’ trophy, while Sai Sarthak Bhattacharya, a first-semester student, proudly took home the ‘Man of the Series’ trophy. The award ceremony was graced by Dr. Pramod Chandra Rath, Founder Chairman of DRIEMS University, as the Chief Guest, who presented the trophies and certificates to the winners. Joining as guests of honor were Administrative Director Balaram Kar, Director (Research) Dr. Biswaranjan Mohanty, and Public Relations Officer Nirakkar Sahu, who shared inspiring words and motivated the students.
The program was organized under the esteemed patronage of the Dean, Dr. Amulyaratna Behera. The event’s proceedings were conducted by Professor Siddhartha Shankar Kar, Professor Chandrashekhar Barik, Assistant Professor Kirchika Mohanty, and Associate Professor Saradakant Sahu. Coordination was skillfully managed by student Jinth Afroz, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Vice-Principal Dr. Kahnu Charan Panda.
