On December 1, 2024, the Department of Community Health Nursing at DRIEMS University’s School of Nursing observed World AIDS Day with a series of impactful and engaging events. The day’s activities highlighted the theme:
“Take the Rights Path: My Health, My Rights!” 🛤️💪❤️
🗓️ Event Highlights:
- 🚶♀️ Rally to raise awareness.
- 🎭 Role play performance at Padmini Care Hospital.
- 📰 Wall magazine inauguration.

👩⚕️👨⚕️ Participants:
B.Sc. Nursing 6th semester students, along with GNM 1st and 2nd-year students, actively contributed to the day’s events. The role play was guided by Ms. Jayashree Behera and Ms. Aiswarya P. Samal, tutors at the School of Nursing.
🎯 Objectives:
1️⃣ Raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.
2️⃣ Show support for people living with HIV/AIDS.
3️⃣ Combat social stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.
