Asst. Prof. Durga Prasad Nayak

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Durga Prasad Nayak is an Assistant Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management (OBHRM) at the School of Management, DRIEMS University, Odisha, India. He holds an MBA in HR and Marketing from Fakir Mohan University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Utkal University. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the at Berhampur University, with his research focusing on career management. Prior to joining DRIEMS University, Prof. Nayak worked on an ICSSR-funded (major) project affiliated with Berhampur University. Prof. Nayak is actively involved in academic administration as the Coordinator of the Research Committee and a member of both the Examination and Academic Committee at School of Management, DRIEMS University. He also serves as an associate editor, DRIEMS Business Review and editorial board member for DRIEMS Digest. His research interests include protean careers, boundaryless career, psychological success, organizational theory and future of work. Prof. Nayak teaches Organizational Behaviour, Business Research Methods, Decision Science, Compensation and Benefits Management, and Industrial Relations. Prof. Nayak is a distinguished orator of management thoughts. To his credit, Prof. Nayak has won over 50 awards in various competitions, including debate, essay writing, quizzes, and creative writing. Prof. Nayak has won the prestigious Best Essayist award from River Publisher, Netherlands. Prof. Nayak has authored numerous research papers, many of which have been published in prestigious Scopus, Web of Science, and ABDC indexed journals. In addition to his academic roles, Prof. Nayak is a UGC-certified trainer for Bharatiya Bhasa. His scholarly work includes several manuscripts on topics like Artificial Intelligence, the future of work, workforce agility, and the romance of leadership, financial literacy and financial inclusion. Prof. Nayak's dedication to research is demonstrated through his leadership in integrative and systematic literature reviews, and he is a frequent collaborator on projects within his academic community. Prof. Nayak is an international affiliate member of prestigious American Psychological Association (APA).
