Ombudsperson, DRIEMS University
Prof. (Dr.) Rabindranath Mishra has been appointed as the Ombudsperson of DRIEMS University for addressing student grievances in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023.
The Ombudsperson’s primary responsibility is to foster fairness, transparency, and accountability throughout the University environment. This role involves providing confidential and unbiased support to students seeking help in resolving their complaints or grievances related to their experiences at the University.
Prof. Rabindranath Mishra brings extensive experience and knowledge to this vital position, ensuring that the rights and concerns of students are effectively protected.
Redressal Process
The Ombudsperson shall hear appeals from an aggrieved student only after they have availed all other remedies provided for students under the existing University processes and regulations.
If you wish to seek assistance from the Office of the Ombudsperson, you can complete the Appeal Form shared below and submit it via email to ombudsdrmu@driems.ac.in You can also submit a signed copy of this form in a sealed cover addressed “To the Ombudsperson”, to the Office of the Registrar, DRIEMS University.
