About Us

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of  DRIEMS university is a dedicated body aimed at enhancing and maintaining the quality of education and administrative functions within the institution. It develops a systematic and consistent approach to performance evaluation, assessment, and accreditation. The IQAC fosters a culture of continuous improvement by setting quality benchmarks, promoting innovative teaching and learning methods, and ensuring the effective implementation of policies and programs. By regularly gathering feedback from stakeholders and conducting internal audits, the IQAC plays a crucial role in the university’s pursuit of excellence and accountability.

As a hub for promoting research culture, the IQAC has been instrumental in fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, guiding policy frameworks, and promoting innovation-led growth. I am proud to share that under the stewardship of the IQAC, we have made significant strides in curriculum development, faculty engagement, research output, and student support services. Regular feedback and assessment ensure that teaching methodologies remain innovative, student-centric, and effective. Encouraging a research-oriented culture is another key priority. Through seminars, workshops, and collaborations, the IQAC supports initiatives that foster creativity, innovation, and academic inquiry. Our students remain the core of our mission. IQAC takes initiatives to ensure their holistic development by improving support services, fostering extracurricular engagement, and ensuring a vibrant academic environment. Through systematic audits, process improvements, and the formulation of best practices, the IQAC seeks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of institutional operations, ensuring that we remain responsive to the changing demands of higher education.

• To channelize and systematize the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence.

• To act as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.

• Developing and implementing quality standards and guidelines for the institution’s academic and administrative operations.
• Supporting the establishment of an environment that is learner-centric and favourable to high-quality education, as well as faculty development in order to embrace the necessary skills and technology for interactive teaching and learning.
• To make arrangements for parents, students, and other stakeholders to provide input on institutional procedures linked to quality.
• To implement regular assessment and feedback mechanisms to evaluate academic programs, administrative processes, and student services.
• Arranging workshops and seminars both within and across institutions, as well as promoting quality circles.
• Serving as the Institution’s central office for organizing initiatives pertaining to quality.
• Establishing a culture of quality throughout the organization; conducting Academic and Administrative Audits (AAA) on a regular basis and monitoring the results.
• Compiling the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), which is to be submitted to NAAC, in accordance with the rules and specifications of NAAC.

• Ensuring the quality of academic and research programs.
• Ensuring timely, effective, and progressive completion of academic, administrative, and financial responsibilities.
• Ensuring equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for diverse segments of society.
• Making sure that evaluation processes are credible.
• Ensuring the current teaching and learning methods are optimized and integrated.
• Ensuring the support of structure and services are adequate, maintained, and operational.
• Networking and sharing research with other institutions.

IQAC’s primary goal is to create a mechanism for deliberate, dependable, and catalytic action to enhance the institution’s administrative and academic performance. It encourages the implementation of best practices and internalization of a quality culture as means of improving institutional functioning and quality.
