Dr. Deepak Kumar Mallick is a dedicated Assistant Professor specializing in Sports Medicine having more than 5 years of experiences in clinical and teaching, revered for his expertise and commitment to advancing athletic health and performance. Armed with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physical Therapy (BPT & MPT), Now continuing PhD. Dr. Mallick brings a wealth of clinical experience and academic rigor to his role. Driven by a passion for sports and physical fitness, Dr. Mallick's career has been shaped by a deep-seated desire to optimize athletic performance while minimizing the risk of injury. His specialized training in sports medicine encompasses a diverse array of disciplines, including biomechanics, exercise physiology, ergonomics and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, enabling him to provide comprehensive care to athletes of all levels. As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Mallick plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of sports medicine by imparting his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of healthcare professionals. Through innovative teaching methods and hands-on training, he fosters a dynamic learning environment where students are empowered to critically analyze and apply evidence-based practices in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. His research work has been published in reputable sources including Scopus and peer-reviewed journals. He has archived best presentation award in IABMS 2022 at Sri Sri University, Cuttack. He has attended different program such as faculty development program. In his clinical practice, Dr. Mallick adopts a patient-centered approach, tailoring treatment plans to address the unique needs and goals of each sports person. He emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes and facilitate a safe return to play.
