Dr. Bidyadhar Swain

Professor & HOD

Dr. Bidyadhar Swain is currently working as Dean in School of Natural Sciences, DRIEMS University, Odisha. He has completed his M.Sc from Utkal University,Vanivihar, M.Phil & Ph.D from Ravenshaw University,Cuttack, PGDCA from Pondicherry Central University and LL.B from Madhusudan Law University,Cuttack. He has been working in this esteemed organization since 2003 and having 29 years of teaching experience and 10 years of research experience. His favourite teaching subjects include Physics, Physics of semiconductor devices, Electronics Devices, Material Science and Nanoscience and Biotechnology. His area of research includes material science, chemical physics, physics of liquid and ultrasonics. He has published more than 12 research articles in his field of research in different national and international conferences and journals. He is already attended and presented many research papers in different national and international conferences/ seminars. He is also working as a reviewer in UGC listed Journal “Journal of Pure and Applied Ultrasonics”. He has attended more than 25 different programs such as STTP, FDP, workshop and seminars in national and international level. He is involved in different academic activities such as question setter, co-ordinator in examination committee, Editor-in-chief of e-magazine, member in the committee for the accreditation work of NAAC / NBA/ ISO, conducted many STTP /FDP / National / International seminars in the Department as a convener/program co-ordinator, expert member in selection committee and taken many more administrative responsibilities. He is the life member of professional society like ISTE , USI, OPS and ISRD.
