Born in a small village, Kairapani in 1958, Dr. Rath becomes interested to set up an educational institution in order to impart technical education in rural area for the upliftment of the deprived talented rural youth. This prompts the inception of DRIEMS at Tangi, just 15 kilometer away from Cuttack, the silver city. Gradually, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Rath other branches like management education, health education and paramedical courses started functioning under the umbrella of DRIEMS Group of Institutions. His commitment to education, integrity at workplace and responsibility towards the society has helped the institute to be reckoned as a premier institute in the Eastern region of India. Dr. Rath’s significant work has set a benchmark in transforming education to meet the global standards.
