Assistant Professor & HOD
Dr. Biplab Behera is currently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Engineering and Technology Department of Civil Engineering, DRIEMS University, Odisha. He has completed his M. Tech and Ph.D. from National Institute of technology ,Durgapur in 2018 and 2022 respectively. He has received best paper award in M. Tech. He has 2 years of teaching experience . His favorite teaching subjects include RCC, PSC, Earthquake Engineering, Structural Dynamics and Foundation Engineering. His area of research includes data Disaster mitigation, Earthquake resistant masonry buildings, Retrofitting and strengthening o of heritage buildings and RCC building, Vulnerability and loss analysis, Use of
sustainable materials in Structural building elements. He has published 10 research papers and 03 national and international conferences. He guides undergraduate and post graduate students in different project. He is involved in different academic activities such as HOD in Department of Civil Engineering, committee member in DRIEMS Degree Research groups, reviewers in international journals, NAAC Co-Ordinator accreditation activities. He has attended faculty development programs, seminar and workshop in national and international level. He is the life time member of Institute of Engineers ,India.
