๐ฉโ๐ Participants: B.Sc Nursing 6th Semester & GNM 2nd Year Students (169 students)
This insightful visit was organized by the Department of Psychiatry Nursing under the guidance of:

- ๐ฉโ๐ซ Miss Smrutishree P. Dalai, Associate Professor
At the center, students were warmly guided by:
- Mrs. Sujata Pattanayak
- Dr. Sucheta Jena
- Mrs. Nibedita Patra
๐ Objectives of the Visit
1๏ธโฃ To educate students about disabilities and developmental delays, including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other behavioral symptoms in children.
2๏ธโฃ To develop communication skills with intellectually disabled children.
3๏ธโฃ To understand therapeutic approaches in child psychiatry units.
๐ก Highlights of the Visit
๐ฌ Students interacted with children facing Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disabilities, offering:
- ๐จ Art Therapy
- ๐งฉ Play Therapy
- ๐ Dance Therapy
๐ The visit included a practical orientation on activities conducted by professionals at the:
- School of Autism
- Vocational Training School
- School of Intellectual Disabilities
