Prof. (Dr.) Jibanananda Mehena
Professor & HOD
Dr. Jibanananda Mehena is presently working as Professor & Head in the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering of DRIEMS University, Cuttack. He has done his M. Tech. in Electronics Engg. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur and Ph.D. in the area of Medical Image Analysis. He has more than twenty one years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than twenty five research papers in national and international journals and published eight books to his credit. He has successfully guided more than thirteen M.Tech. thesis and more than forty B.Tech. project in the field of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. He has received various grants from different organization for modernizing state of the art research laboratories, conducting conference and short term training program in the field of Electronics & Telecommunication Engg. He has awarded Best teacher, Teacher's excellence and Best researcher award from DRIEMS group of institutions. He is a life member of Institute of Engineers and ISTE. His area of interest includes VLSI Design, Microprocessor & Microcontroller, Signal and Image Processing.
